Last night I attended a Yelp event for ladies (and a few gents), at a new clothing and jewelry boutique called Kyle by Alene Too in Beverly Hills. It is partly owned by Kyle from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. With sparkly bubbly, unique toffee concoctions, chocolates, Sprinkles Cupcakes, vegan bites from M Cafe, and a Ben & Jerry’s Frozen Yogurt truck parked out front, this event satisfied my sweet tooth, as well as opened up an appetite for a gorgeous selection of clothing and accessories. Kyle by Alene Too is a bit on the $$$ side, so we enjoyed window shopping at this location! Here are some pictures and highlights of the featured businesses last night.
Lily Darling Pastry offered decadent macarons, which were made with a lightly crispy shell and moist and delicious filling.
This was the most exotic item of the night, the Naga Truffle by Vosges Haut-Chocolat. I was apprehensive to try curry with chocolate. The initial bite is a bit surprising, but once you finish it off, the flavors actually blend well together. I would try it again, but wouldn’t order it by the dozen.
The Milk Potato Chip Toffee was the winner for me last night by The Toffee Twins. The salty, sweet, and crunchy toffee combination was scrumptious. I also enjoyed their Oreo Toffee. This company in business for just a few months and is owned by fraternal twins in Los Angeles.
I gladly welcomed the healthy sushi from M Cafe to balance out all the sweets! They also served a tasty kale salad and little hummus hors d’oeuvres.
Consistently scrumptious, Sprinkles Cupcakes are always a crowd pleaser. With a variety of bite-sized cupcakes including red velvet and chocolate, the Salted Caramel cupcake was an excellent selection!
